Whilst working within property marketing, I was able to broaden my Photoshop and Indesign skills. This was very helpful when making mood boards for clients and also for blog content.

This is an example of a mood board that I created and how the tones and elements of this are similar to the virtual staging that was created for various clients at the company.

Mood boarding also helped with being able to practise my photoshop skills and reinforce what I was taught at university. I also see it as a creative outlet and a great visual representation to gage what your client wants, and using that as another form of communication that for them.

Inspiration

This CGI Restaurant design Project is an example of gaging your clients needs. This mood board was created in the property marketing company that I worked for. Our client wanted to sell a space to potential developers with the main idea of the space being renovated into a restaurant based on its location. From compiling research on the area and looking at potentially competitors, we were able to create a mood board that represented what our client wanted. From there a computer-generated imagery (CGI) of what the restaurant could potentially looked like, was created.

Mock Project - Mood Board - Toyin.png

This Mood board was created for a mock project interview that I participated in for a company. I was also tasked to make a shopper list based on the requirements for an outdoor summer space and this mood board was the general vision that would be showed to the client.
